THROUGH THIS BLOG I AM TAKING MY WRITING OUT OF MOTH BALLS TO EXPRESS MYSELF WITH THE NUANCES OF THE LIFE...ONGOING ISSUES POLITICAL OR NON POLITICAL AND MANY SLICES OF WHAT WE CALL AS LIFE......
AS THE READER IN ME HAS DARED TO TURN INTO A WRITER ...I HUMBLY THANK MY READERS TO BE A PART OF THIS JOURNEY AND WOULD APOLOGIZE IF I HAPPEN TO BE TACTLESS SOMEWHERE......
TODAY AS WE WITNESS....DUSSEHRA TO MARK THE VICTORY OF GOOD OVER EVIL.....I JUST HAPPEN TO GRAPPLE WITH THE IDEA THAT RAVANA WAS A VILLAIN OF THE PIECE AND EVERY BODY WAS AWARE OF IT.....THINGS WERE AS BLACK AND WHITE AS THEY COULD BE...SO MAY BE IT WAS EASIER FOR LORD RAM TO BE PUNITIVE FOR HIM..
CUT TO THIS CURRENT TIMES....VILLAINS OF THE STORIES ARE ARMED WITH GREY SHADES THESE DAYS ....THEY ARE SUBJECTIVE NOW....A PERSON MAY APPEAR TO BE THE BEST OF PERSONS TO ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE,THEY MAY HERO WORSHIP HIM .... BUT MAY BE HE IS INTO SOMETHING DARKLY NON NEGOTIABLE ON THE OTHER HAND...RAM AND RAVANA SEEMS TO BE OSTENSIBLY COEXISTING IN A SAME PERSON.....HOW TO PUNISH THAT RAVAN WHILE REMAINING INNOCUOUS WITH THE RAM .
IT IS BECOMING ALL TOO DIFFICULT TO COME DOWN HARD ON A CULPRIT BECAUSE AS SOON AS U INTEND TO DO SO.....IN NO TIME U WILL HAVE THE OTHER COTERIE IN THE SUPPORT OF THE SAME PERSON TO DEAL WITH.....
THE THING THAT WE DO NEED TO REALISE IS THAT THE ROLE MODEL WHOM I HERO WORSHIP CAN HAVE HIS DARKER SHADES ALSO....I BEING IMMUNE TO HIS BAD SIDE WILL HAVE A MASSIVE IMPACT ON THE JUSTICE THAT MIGHT REMAIN DANGLING LIKE AN ARTIFICIAL CARROT.
LET US RESOLVE TO LARGELY NOURISH ONLY THE RAM....AND MAKE NO BONES IN PUNISHING THE RAVAN SIDE OF THE PERSON WE ADMIRE OR ELSE WE ARE UNKNOWINGLY KEEPING THE RAVAN ALIVE WHO WAS KILLED BY RAM ....SO WE ALL NEED TO BE THE RAM ....

LET ME REMIND YOU OF ENLIGHTENED ARJUN WHO HELD ONTO THE PATH OF JUSTICE BY TAKING ON HIS OWN KINS FOR THE RIGHTEOUSNESS TO BE PREVAILED....

It is the destiny of all to decide our fate...Arjun and Ekalavya, both were having superior talents, but the destiny was that Ekalavya had to cut his finger and Arjun got the fame..Even Pandavas had to push a poor aborigine lady with her five innocent children to burn and succumbed them in death at Varnavrat to escape them and that plan was settled by Yudhisthir, the eldest Pandava...so, its all decided by destiny and when people are eager to achieve something, some create their own destination to achieve something.. Its detrimental.. ..

ReplyDeleteTo my mind,as u hv mentioned that today's human is the amalgamation of good and bad.. Can be considered in a moderate way but according to your innuendo ppl who commit henious crime,can never be fall into the fair catagory as Ravan's padantic virtues are hardly remembered because of his malighned intention for Sita

ReplyDeleteDestiny n Karma go hand in hand...Ravana highly intellectual endowed with innumerable talents his adamant n ignorant behavior led to his downfall....Lord Rama also called Purushottam Ram a stage comes when He disowned Maa Sita falling on to common man's outlook..As a women....When I look at Maa Sita I feel lot of injustice done...where she had no fault of hers...her ...long sagas of AGNIPARIKSHAS (as a wife ..queen of Ayodhya..mother of Luv Kush...)....ultimately when both Rama n Sita go back to their Vishnu n Lakshmi avatar they unite in heaven....hmm..Destiny ..n Karma...( my views on mythology is limited and the way I understood it through audio visual aids n my personal understanding has led me pen down my feelings).
